I'm making this post for a couple reasons.

1) The least important of the reasons is this: My computer refuses to play WoW. I don't know why, and apparently tech support doesn't either, my thread has been ignored for over a week, despite multiple bumps back up to the top. I even tried calling, but the guy I got ahold of didn't know Windows 7, and then I hung up after being on hold for over an hour while he tried to find someone who knew his ass from a hole in the ground. To say I'm dissatisfied with Blizzard at the moment would be an understatement.

2) The more important reason of the two, by far, as it means I will also no longer be able to log in to the site.

As some of you already know, I enlisted in the Navy last September, and have been waiting for a slot in Boot. I was scheduled to ship May 20th, but that was too long. I put in a request for an early ship date earlier this month. A seat opened up, I'm going. I leave on February the 11th. I'll be gone from the game for at least two and a half years. Almost certainly longer. I may be able to pop in to the site from time to time, but definately not while I'm in boot.

I'm hoping to be able to get internet access while I'm in A School in Charleston, but there's no guarantees. I should be able to at least say hi when I'm on leave, but as time will be limited during leave, there's no guarantees either.


Now, I'm sure some of you aren't too surprised by this. I haven't been online in game personally for over a month, and I was on sporadically at best before that. But know that I always loved the people in TE, and it's always been my home in WoW. Somewhere I could come back to.

We've had our bad times, as some of you very well know if you were around close to a year ago, but I feel the good far outstrips the bad.

Ami, Zak, Aer, Reesee, Sev, Dean, Red, Keth, Myat(Wow this list is long. Heh.), Tinox,, Balt, Pra, Durri, Bump... It's been a blast. It really has.

And for all you people whose names I can't remember off the top of my head at the moment, you're no less well remembered in my heart, if not my head.

It's been fun guys, but I've got to go. And I will miss you all terribly.

<3 Slaye. Man, we sure had a blast, eh? :D No worries, WoW or not, you'll still be my Partner In Crime. You go out there and roundhouse kick life as hard as you can and I'll sneak in and pickpocket it, and remember that here or not, you won't be forgotten. I wish you all the best, and I'll be lookin' for posts telling us you're having a great time.

That's quite a commitment you've made, and a respectable one at that. You've always brought something interesting to the game, and you will be missed, I guarantee you that. Who knows what things will be like in two and a half years, but I only wish the best for you, and perhaps we'll run into each other again some time in the future. Smile

I hope so. It would be nice to come back and see TE still around. And if anyone's wondering, I set this up early to give people that don't frequent the site so often a chance to see it. And give a more personal goodbye to anyone that had something they wanted to ask. Or if they just had something special to say.

Well, I leave tomorrow. Gotta be up at the hotel pretty early in the day, so I don't think I'll have a chance to get on and say bye. But I'll think about you guys, and if I can manage it, I'll give the address for the "ship" I'll be at to someone who can pass it along. Mail is awesome, or so I've heard. =P

Anyway, if I can't get the address to you guys, I'll definately come update you all on how it's going any chance I get.

Slay got fucked over big time.  I'm sorry to use the harsh language, but there is no other words for it.
His head recruiter faked some kind of test for him and the MEPS guy found out and he's paying for it.  He didn't leave for basic today because someone didn't do their job like they're supposed to.

Alrighty! Well, if anyone's noticed, it's been about a month since I should have been home. There's a reason for that. And it sucks.

Anyway, I hurt my knee. That's the long and short of it. Did something it wasn't supposed to do, now I can't walk without pain. Doesn't make passing the PFA very possible. So, I went to rehab. Tried to fix it. It got worse. Now I'm on my way home. Should be there about... eh, monday or tuesday at the latest. Friday if I'm lucky. Give you more when I have more time. *waves*

Bad news?
1) My account got hacked. Again. And blacklisted. Which means it's gone for good. Not coming back. (Not yey!)

Semi-good news?
1) I made a new account. It's still in Trial status, so I can't whisper anyone or anything, but my char's name is Sarroot. (I randomized it) Anyway, add me to your friends and we can talk and stuff. x3
