Here are some answers to some general questions about who is invited to join the guild, how to join, and how to maintain membership in the Twilight Empire.
Am I invited to join the Twilight Empire?
At any time applications are open, all members of the Alliance are invited to join the Empire. This includes all levels, all races, and all classes.
Are Worgen allowed to join?
Yes, Worgen are allowed to join the Twilight Empire.
Are Death Knights allowed to join?
Yes, given the fall of the Lich King, Death Knights are invited to join the Empire as long as their IC personalities fit in the guild.
How do I join the Twilight Empire?
The Empire is thrilled to have players interested in entering our ranks. However, we do periodically open and close applications to limit our growth so that we can focus on maintaining our close-knit community.
There are no level requirements to join the Empire. We only ask that you understand our structure and our Horde policy and agree to abide by our tenets. Also, since the Twilight Empire is a heavy roleplaying guild, it is expected that you are a roleplayer (or at least willing to learn to roleplay).
If you agree with the tenets of the guild and wish to join, please speak to an officer in-game. They will speak with you, give you a password, and then direct you to an online application. After filling out that application, you will have an in-character interview. The culmination of this process is an induction ceremony where you are warmly welcomed into the Empire.
While this process may seem somewhat long, it's relatively easy to accomplish. It allows the Senators to get to know you and it provides an opportunity for you to get to know more about us as well. We're looking forward to meeting you!
Is there a policy for alts?
Yes, alts are allowed, but they are also subject to the activity rule. Members of Twilight Empire can have their alts invited to the guild without an application.
Is there an activity requirement?
Characters in Twilight Empire will generally be kicked out of the guild if they have not logged on in over a month. However, there are exceptions, as you will see in the guild tab of the social window. Here are some cases where exceptions may be made as long as the player informs the officers of the guild.
- The player is in the Armed Forces and will be deployed for an extended amount of time.
- The player plans to continue to play WoW and participate in TE, but is currently unable to afford game time.
- The player's computer malfunctioned but they are working on fixing it.
- Players who have significantly contributed to the guild or who have passed away while in the guild will be given a special rank so that they can be remembered.
- Other factors outside of the player's control prevents them from playing WoW for a period of time.
